<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cell search with efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication system includes a first cell and a second cell smaller than the first cell. A radio base station corresponding to the first cell transmits a synchronization channel and a channel other than the synchronization channel together in a time-multiplex manner in a predetermined band as a part of a transmission band of the first cell.
