<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a rotating electric machine capable of sufficiently cooling a stator. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling device for a rotating electric machine 10 comprises: first and second guide parts 36 and 38 which are arranged along an upper outer periphery of a stator 14 and guide cooling liquid into the stator 14; a supply part 34 which supplies the cooling liquid to the first guide part 36; a weir section 46 which is arranged in the first guide part 36 and keeps back part of the cooling liquid supplied from the supply part 34; and an outflow hole 48 from which the cooling liquid kept back by the weir section 46 flows out. The first guide part 36 guides the cooling liquid which passes through the weir section 46 to the stator 14, and the second guide part 38 receives the cooling liquid which is kept back by the weir section 46 and flows out from the outflow hole 48, and then guides it to the stator 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
