<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television set capable of previously informing a user of the presence or absence of the update of Internet radio program. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television 100 (television set) comprises: a display unit 11; a communication unit 17 for receiving the Internet radio program from a relay server 200 via the Internet; an audio output unit 12 for playing back the Internet radio program received by the communication unit 17; and a control unit 14 for performing control to compare an update time when the content of the Internet radio program is updated with a playback time when the Internet radio program is played back by the audio output unit 12 and to provide the user with update information 50 that the Internet radio program has been updated if the update time is more recent than the playback time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
