<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foods and drinks which have remedying effect for the symptoms of dry syndromes such as a dry mouth, dry eyes and a dry skin, and is utilizable for foods for specified health use, nutritional supplements, functional foods, compositions for remedying dry syndromes, compositions for remedying dry skins, compositions for remedying the moisture of skins or the like. <P>SOLUTION: By jointly using luffa and/or the processed substance thereof and a nitrogen monoxide (NO)-produced substance, by their multiplication physiological effects, the water permeation function of living cells is accelerated to remedy the dry syndromes such as a dry mouth, dry eyes and a dry skin. In particular, it is superior in the effect of remedying the moisture of a skin.
