The plasterboard comprises coverings (1, 2), a layer (6) of light loads coated with hydrated calcium sulfate having an average diameter of 1-3 mm, and a layer for connecting the covering and the light load layer. The coating of the light load layer with hydrated calcium sulfate is obtained using a high shear rate mixer. The coated layer has a ratio of water to covering of 0.4-0.8, where the composition of the covering includes calcium sulfate pentahydrate (CaSO 40.5H 2O) in dried mass. The light load layer has an apparent density of 0.5-1.1. An independent claim is included for a process for fabricating a plasterboard.
