<p>1298215 Isoxazole derivatives F HOFFMANN-LA ROCHE & CO AG 20 Nov 1969 [22 Nov 1968] 10792/71 Divided out of 1298211 Headings C2C and C2P The invention comprises compounds of the Formula I and the corresponding phosphonium salts of Formula II where R 15 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl C 1-8 radical, R 16 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl C 1-8 , arylalkyl C 1-8 or alkyl C 1-6 -aryl radical, R 1 <SP>1</SP>, R 2 1 and R 3 1 each represent an alkyl C 1-8 , phenyl or phenyl-alkyl C 1-8 radical and X is the anion of an inorganic acid. Compounds I are prepared by reacting an acid-binding agent with compounds II which are prepared by reacting a 3-R 15 , 5-R 16 -isoxazol-4-yl methyl halide or sulphate with a compound PR 1 <SP>1</SP>R 2 <SP>1</SP>R 3 <SP>1</SP>. 4 - Chloromethyl - 3,5 - dimethylisoxazole is prepared by reacting thionyl chloride with the corresponding 4-hydroxy methyl compound which is prepared 'by the LiAlH 4 reduction of the 4- carboethoxy compound which is prepared from nitroethane, phosphorus oxychloride and ethyl #-pyrrolidinocrotonate which is prepared from pyrrolidine and ethylacetoacetate.</p> |
