<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous titanium oxide coating film, which allows ions and electrons to travel efficiently while suppressing reverse electron transfer and facilitates light diffusion, thereby making possible to produce a dye-sensitized solar cell with a large conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A porous titanium oxide coating film includes rod-like, tubular or fibrous titanium oxide structures (A) and titania nanoparticles (B), and has continuous or gradual concentration gradients of the titanium oxide structures (A) and titania nanoparticles (B) in a thickness direction thereof. When formed on a substrate, it is preferable that the porous titanium oxide coating film has a continuous or gradual concentration gradient such that the concentration of the titanium oxide structures (A) at a point away from the interface of the coating film and the substrate in the coating film becomes higher as the point becomes closer to the top surface of the coating film in the thickness direction of the coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
