<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption device and method which conceals content of a document by encryption and in which a summary of the content of the document can be understood even after the encryption. <P>SOLUTION: The encryption device comprises: receiving means for receiving an input of a plaintext document which is an encryption target; summary readable encrypting means for dividing the plaintext document into an encryption-target portion plaintext and a non-encryption-target portion plaintext, for encrypting the encryption-target portion plaintext with a predetermined encryption algorithm to generate a partial ciphertext, and for replacing the encryption-target portion plaintext in the plaintext document by the partial ciphertext to generate a replacement document; and outputting means for outputting the replacement document as an encrypted document corresponding to the plaintext document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
