<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accept only an intentional remote operation by a user. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical apparatus 1 includes a remote operation function without a remote controller. A CPU13 determines whether a user looks at the apparatus body on the basis of an image of the user taken by a built-in camera 18, and further detects a predetermined specified movement of the user on the basis of the taken image.
