<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information providing apparatus, personal digital assistant, content processing device, device control apparatus, content processing system and program in which convenience can be improved in selecting and processing contents. <P>SOLUTION: A content list includes contents processible by a designated processing device 300 among contents subjected to processing including specific contents managed for each user, the content list is received from an ECG server 100 by a portable terminal 200, and contents are selected by a user. A processing request of the selected contents is transmitted from the portable terminal to the designated device via the ECG server and a device control server 400 and unit information of the selected contents is acquired, displayed and reproduced by the portable terminal 200.
