<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover opening/closing mechanism for easily opening/closing a cover body without giving effect on the cover body, such as deformation. <P>SOLUTION: The cover opening/closing mechanism comprises a frame part 2 provided with side frames 6 and 7, a cover body 3, a first support part 4 disposed between the side frame 6 and the cover body 3, and a second support part 5 disposed between the side frame 7 and the cover body 3. The first support part 4 and the second support part 5 comprise slide rail members 16 and 26 each provided with a guide, and response members 18 and 28 each corresponding to the guide, respectively. The guide comprises a main guide region formed along a longitudinal direction of the slide rail members 16 and 26, and an engaging guide region folded back from the main guide region.
