[Class 44] A press stud fastening device for securing moulding strips 7 to a support 2 without any looseness to cause rattle comprises a, pair of bowed legs 12 extending from base members 14 which, on the legs being inserted through an aperture 8 in the support 2 and remaining under compression, move towards each other and force parts 18 of such base members into firm engagement with the side walls 5, 6 of the moulding strip. Fig. 14 shows a form in which the base members 24 have abutting parts 25 which tilt outwardly when the members 24 are moved towards each other by the bowed legs 23 being inserted in the aperture of the support. |
