NOVEL TETRAHYDROFUSEDPYRIDINES AS HISTONE DEACETYLASE INHIBITORS

Tetrahydrofusedpyridine compounds of formula (I) and their salts are disclosed, in which A, B, L, D and E have meanings as given in the description these compounds are effective inhibitors of histone deacetylases and are uses for treating, preventing or ameliorating diseases such as benign and/or malignant neoplasia including cancer, arthropathies and osteopathological conditions, autoimmune diseases including transplant rejection, acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, hyperprolifera- tive diseases or neuropathological disorders which are responsive or sensitive to inhibition of histone deacetylase activity.
