OLEH GRYGOROVYCH BYTENKOS METHOD FOR CALIBRATION OF A SCALE CURRENT TRANSFORMER

Method for calibration of scale current transformer relates to electric measuring equipment and can be used for verification of measuring current transformers. The method includes comparison of currents of connected in series scale current transformer that is verified and a supplementary scale current transformer with at least one measuring device that is connected to the inputs of each of the scale current transformers. At that current from the primary current source is applied to both scale current transformers, and verification is carried out at equality of values of primary currents of scale current transformers. To the scale current transformer that is verified one connects an additional current source, after that one changes value of current of additional current source in such way as to make equal the values of secondary currents of those scale current transformers. After that one performs comparison through measurement of difference of primary currents between the scale current transformers. And coefficient of scale transformation of the scale current transformer that is verified one determines by a respective formula. The method increases effectiveness and speeds up the process of verification.
