Disclosed are (2r)-2-[(4-sulfonyl)aminophenyl] propanamide compounds represented by general formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Also disclosed is the use of the compounds for treating, diseases that involve CXCL1 induced human PMNs chemotaxis, melanoma, angiogenesis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS).
