ENHANCED MULTILEVEL MEMORY

PURPOSE: An enhanced multilevel memory is provided to reduce a probability that an error happens by reading out the information of a memory cell through a soft decision mode. CONSTITUTION: In an enhanced multilevel memory, a memory(100) comprises a memory cell(110) and a matrix(105). The memory cell is programmed into one of various states. The memory receives an address code. The address code selects the memory cell or a desired memory cell group. An encoding - decoding unit(120) performs encoding of an input signal. The encoding-decoding unit performs decoding operation of an output encoded signal. .
