The head-rest (1) has sleeves (8, 9) arranged for slidingly receiving rods carried by a mounting unit of an accessory to mount the accessory on the head-rest in a removable manner, where each sleeve is provided with a rigidification structure and a guide equipped with a bore to slidingly receive the rods. A connection unit (13) connects the sleeves with a carcass (3) of the head-rest. A video projector is assembled on an accessory mounting device above the head-rest. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for mounting an accessory on a head-rest of a seat of a motor vehicle (2) a video-projection installation.
