<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL device which can increase the external extraction efficiency of light by suppressing the loss of the light, a luminaire with the EL device, and a display unit. <P>SOLUTION: The EL device 1 has: a translucent substrate 2; a lens sheet 10 disposed on the side of a light emission surface of the translucent substrate 2; a plurality of light incident side salients 16 formed on a surface of the lens sheet 10 opposite to the light emission surface of the translucent substrate 2; an adhesion layer 12 formed between the translucent substrate 2 and the lens sheet 10 for suppressing reflection of light emitted from the light emission surface of the translucent substrate 2, with which the light incident side salients 16 are in close contact; and an air space layer 18 formed between the adhesion layer 12 and the light incident side salients 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
