CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor with a larger capacity than that of conventional one.

SOLUTION: A capacitor 100 comprises an anode layer 10, a cathode layer 20, and a solid electrolyte layer 30 arranged between these electrode layers 10 and 20. At least one of the electrode layers 10 (20) of this capacitor 100 comprises an Al porous body 11 and an electrode body 12 (13) which is supported by this Al porous body 11 to polarize the electrolyte. The oxygen amount of the surface of the Al porous body 11 is 3.1 mass% or less, which means that an oxide film of high resistance is hardly formed on the surface of the Al porous body 11. Therefore, this Al porous body 11 allows enlarging the power collection area of the electrode layer 10 (20) so as to improve the capacity of the capacitor 100.
