CURRENT POSITION DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a current position more accurately in contemplation of time necessary for calculation based on GPS satellite signals for determining the current position and a speed increase/decrease state of a current position display device.

SOLUTION: This current position display device is provided with: a speed change rate acquisition means for acquiring speed change rates of the current position display device at a plurality of past GPS positioning locations; a weighting factor storage means for storing weighting factors corresponding to the plurality of past GPS positioning locations; a predictable speed change rate calculation means for calculating a speed change rate of the current position display device at a latest GPS positioning location as a predictable speed change rate based on the plurality of past speed change rates and the corresponding weighting factors; and a display control means for calculating a position of the current position display device upon output of a GPS positioning location by a GPS receiver as an estimated position based on the latest GPS positioning location and the predictable speed change rate, and for displaying a current position mark on the estimated position on a map.
