<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge having an ink storage part which is formed by fusion-bonding a film, wherein the waviness of the film surface of the ink cartridge is eliminated, and upon printing by the printer, ink-thinning is prevented, and also, the breakage of the film caused by the interference with an external apparatus is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 1 includes: an ink chamber 2 having an atmospheric hole 5 including an atmosphere communication path 42, and configured to store the ink therein; a compartment 6 provided with a micropore formation part 12 for allowing the passage of the ink stored in the ink chamber 2; and an ink supply chamber 3 having an ink supply port 4 for supplying the ink to the outside; wherein a plurality of reinforcing ribs 18 are provided in the ink chamber 2 and the compartment 6. In the ink cartridge 1, the atmosphere communication path 42 and the compartment 6 are formed, by covering a recessed part formed in the surface of the ink cartridge 1 with the film 31 and by fusion-bonding the film 31 to the surface of the ink cartridge 1, and a label 41 is made to adhere to the surface of the fusion-bonded film 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
