PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing system and a content distribution server.

SOLUTION: The content providing system comprises a content reception terminal which sends a content search request each including time information at each of a plural time points traced in terms of a continuous change operation input process and provides a user with data sent in response to the content search request, and a content distribution server which searches using a condition based the time information included in the received content search request as a search condition to detect one or more contents in a predetermined time period and sends to content reception terminal information used for the user to identify the one or more contents in the predetermined time period as a result of the detection.
