EPOXIDIZED POLYBUTADIENE WATER DISPERSION-TYPE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable water dispersion-type resin composition suitable for forming a coating having excellent film forming property even under a dry condition at room temperature, and having excellent adhesiveness to a plastic base material, and containing a water dispersion-type resin composition.

SOLUTION: This water dispersion-type resin composition is obtained by emulsifying and copolymerizing epoxidized polybutadiene and at least one kind of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in an aqueous medium. As the ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (a) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer not having a hydrophilic group and (b) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a hydrophilic group copolymerizable with (a) the ethylenically unsaturated monomer not having a hydrophilic group are preferably used.
