<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow paste, which is used for a plasma display panel, to form a metal bus electrode from the same material while maintaining electrode quality regardless of a state of a background of the metal bus electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a plasma display panel, including the step of forming an electrode and a dielectric layer on at least one substrate. An electrode material for forming an electrode contains at least a first glass material and a second glass material. A first glass material softening point is higher than a softening point of the second glass material, and a difference between the softening points of the first glass material and the second glass material is from 5°C or higher to 30°C or lower. The step of forming the electrode includes the steps of applying the electrode material onto substrate, and burning the electrode material applied onto the substrate. In the step of burning the electrode material, the electrode material is burnt at a temperature higher than the softening point of the first glass material by from 30°C or higher to 50°C or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
