PURPOSE: A navigation system interlocking with a winker and a control method thereof are provided to improve vehicle performance by automatically controlling a winker using a GPS signal. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system(20) interlocking with a winker comprises a gyro sensor(220), a GPS module(210), and a controller(240). The gyro sensor outputs first and second voltage when the direction of a vehicle is left and right using a GPS signal. The GPS module extracts the angular acceleration of the vehicle using the GPS signal. The controller determines whether a winker is lightened or not using the entering angle of the vehicle confirmed from the angular acceleration. When it is determined that the winker is lightened, the controller transmits a lighting signal to a dashboard.
