摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling abiotic stress resistance of a plant by genetic manipulation of glucosamine level is provided to develop crops with abiotic stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling abiotic stress resistance of a plant comprises: a step of introducing E.coli NagB(glucosamine-6-phosphate deaminase) gene into the plant to reduce glucosamine level in the plant; and a step of introducing E. coli GlmS(glucosamine-6-phosphate synthase) gene into the plant to reduce glucosamine level in the plant. The abiotic stress includes oxidative stress, drought stress, or cold stress. A transgenic plant with abiotic stress resistance contains the E.coli NagB gene. The transgenic plant also has E.coli GlmS gene and HSP101p(heat shock protein 101 gene) promoter.
