PURPOSE: An Intelligent entrance managing device using face detection and an entrance managing method thereof are provided to seclude the entrance of a enterer with bad intension by generating a call signal for the enterer if the face of the enterer is checked from the photographed image through the entering door device. CONSTITUTION: A call signal processing unit(137) outputs a calling sound through a speaker to inner person. A face detection unit(143) extracts the face image of people coming in and out from an image. A forgery/modification determiner(145) compares the image of a biometric face and the detected face image. A call control unit(147) generates the event if the call button is operated and detects the face image of the enterer based on the comparing result of the face detection unit and the forgery/modification determiner. If the detected image is determined as the image of the biometric face, the call control unit outputs the ring tone.
