<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-type driver which can constitute a vibrator holder with large rigidity to a rotation moment operating on a vibrator by driving while rigidity of the vibrator in a pressurizing direction is maintained to be small and which can stably maintain a contact state of the vibrator and a body to be driven. <P>SOLUTION: In the vibration-type driver, the vibrator having at least an electrical/mechanical energy conversion element and an elastic body where a contact portion is formed includes a vibrator holding body bonded to vibrator holding members, and the driven body which is brought into contact with the contact portion relatively moves to the vibrator by elliptic motion caused in the contact portion. Each vibrator is bonded to a face of the holding member on a side where the contact portion is brought into contact with the driven body, and includes the pressurizing means for bringing the contact portion to the driven body on a face side of the vibrator holding member on an opposite side of a side where the contact portion is brought into contact with the driven body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
