PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing synchronizing apparatus for accurately synchronizing an internal timing signal of the apparatus itself with a reference timing signal.

SOLUTION: A timing synchronizing apparatus includes: an acquisition section for acquiring a reference timing signal indicating a predetermined time interval and reference time information indicating a reference time corresponding to the reference timing signal; a clock generation section for generating an internal clock signal having a clock frequency; a time information generation section for generating an internal timing signal indicating a predetermined time interval and internal time information indicating a time corresponding to the internal timing signal on the basis of the internal clock signal; a detection section for detecting advancement or delay of the internal timing signal with respect to the reference timing signal by comparing the reference timing signal with the internal timing signal and comparing the reference time information with the internal time information, and detecting an advancing amount or a delaying amount of a phase of the internal timing signal with respect to the reference timing signal; and an adjustment section for adjusting the clock frequency in accordance with the advancing amount or the delaying amount of the phase.
