<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase use efficiency of a charging stand where charging to a storage battery mounted on an electric vehicle is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A charging reservation server according to an embodiment includes: a travel distance calculation part for calculating travelable distance of a vehicle from vehicle information of the vehicle, which is received by an antenna and announced through a communication network, and residual capacity information of a storage battery of the vehicle; a charging stand retrieval part for retrieving a charging stand within the travelable distance from the travelable distance and position information showing a position where communication with the vehicle announced by the communication network is performed; and a charging stand reservation part for selecting an optimal charging stand from charging stands within the travelable distance to make a reservation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
