<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle multimedia system. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle multimedia system comprising: a radio unit (102); a display (22) for displaying status information (24, 26 and 28) and a selectable and startable menu item (44); at least one control element (16) for selecting and starting the menu item (44); and a control device (100) for driving the display (22) and controlling the control element (16) is provided.
