LOAD CURRENT DETECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load current detection device for detecting an appropriate current value not including an error even when either a resistance load or an inverter load is connected.

SOLUTION: A load current detection device 1 comprises: a determination unit 12 for determining whether a resistance load or an inverter load is connected based on a waveform of a current appearing on a power feeding line to a connected load 3; an error information storage unit 13 for preliminarily storing error information on the error between a current value detected by a load current detection unit 11 when the inverter load is connected and a current value actually supplied to the load; and a correction unit 14 for correcting the current value detected by the load current detection unit 11 based on the error information only when it is determined that a non-supported inverter is connected.
