<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of reducing bronze unevenness peculiar to a jointed head and to provide an image processing method of reducing the bronze unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: A second ink is recorded to data where recording data of a first ink easy to be aggregated exists and the recording data of a second ink for suppressing the aggregation of the first ink does not exist, according to a recording duty of the first ink. At this time, a recording duty of the second ink is maximized in the recording duty where coloring shift accompanied by displacement of recording positions of two chips in an overlapping region of a first jointed head.
