<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED driving device and an LED lighting device with less loss. <P>SOLUTION: An LED driving device 1 that turns on an LED by a pulsating voltage obtained by rectifying an AC voltage by a rectification circuit 3 includes: an LED unit 8 including an LED group constituted by a plurality of LEDs 5-1 to 5-n connected in series and a constant current circuit 4 serially connected to the LED group; and a control circuit 6 that performs control to switch a first connection state where a capacitor 7 is serially connected to the LED unit 8, and the capacitor 7 is charged by applying a pulsating current to these LED unit 8 and capacitor 7, and a second connection state where the electric charges accumulated in the capacitor 7 are discharged via the LED unit 8 by parallelly connecting the charged capacitor 7 to the LED unit 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
