摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the position gap of front and rear images even if there is difference in various kinds of paper, storage environment conditions after surface printing and storage time. <P>SOLUTION: In an inkjet printer loaded with an inline sensor for picturizing the print result, a non-discharge detecting pattern 20 and expansion/contraction reference marks 22A-22H are recorded at the time of printing the first page (surface). When the second page (rear surface) is printed after the first surface printing, at least one sheet of the first surface printed paper is fed through the printer and the expansion/contraction marks 22A-22H recorded on the first surface of the paper concerned are picturized by the inline sensor, then the amount of expansion/contraction deformation is calculated from the reading result. According to the obtained amount of expansion/contraction deformation, the processing of expansion/contraction deformation is applied to the image data for second surface printing. Moreover, the amount of paper expansion/contraction can be measured with the accuracy close to a nozzle pitch by way of newly making an additional recording of the expansion/contraction reference mark on the first surface and detecting the position of the mark recorded additionally in corresponding with the non-discharge detecting pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
