PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting unit inspection device capable of reducing burden by enabling the inspection device to determine whether LED driving outputs of the LED lighting unit are appropriate via evaluation and by making investigation more efficient.

SOLUTION: An LED lighting unit inspection device 1 includes evaluation means 6 for dividing LED driving outputs with modulated pulse widths generated by an LED lighting unit 10 into a peak value and a modulated pulse width value and evaluating each value. The evaluation means 6 includes a plurality of determination parts 65 to 61 corresponding to a plurality of brightness ratios.
