<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a subnet, to which a terminal belongs to, to be the same before and after authentication so as to enable an authentication network to be accessed even after authentication. <P>SOLUTION: In an authentication network, a packet relay apparatus has a routing table which does not have a transfer path to a job network, and in the job network, an L3 switch 131 having a routing table comprising transfer paths to the authentication network and the job network is used. A transmission packet from an unauthenticated terminal is transferred to the L3 switch 131 in the authentication network by an L2 switch 121, and transfer to the job network is discarded as unknown destination in routing in the authentication network of the L3 switch 131. A transmission packet from an authenticated terminal is transferred to the L3 switch 131 in the job network by the L2 switch 121, thereby enabling the packet to be transferred not only to the authentication network but also to the job network in routing in the job network of the L3 switch 131. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
