<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a receiver for a vehicle" capable of more accurately performing processing for traffic information and processing for broadcast information other than the traffic information corresponding to the actual traveling situations of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver for a vehicle includes a first tuner 10 and a second tuner 20 for receiving broadcast information, and a processing unit 30. The processing unit 30 includes a traveling situation determination means (S12) for determining whether the traveling situation of the vehicle is a first situation defined as the situation with high need of traffic information or a second situation defined as the situation with low need of the traffic information, and first processing control means (S17-S19) for executing control so as to increase the ratio of reception processing for the traffic information in the first tuner and reduce the ratio of the reception processing for the broadcast information other than the traffic information when determined that the traveling situation of the vehicle is the first situation compared to the case of being determined that it is the second situation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
