<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device robust against an impact from the outside, when the piezoelectric device is implemented on a printed circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A surface mounting type piezoelectric device mounted on a printed circuit board by soldering comprises: a piezoelectric vibration piece (50) which has an excitation electrode, and vibrates with a voltage applied to the excitation electrode; a first plate (30) which has a concave portion (35) made up of a glass or a piezoelectric material and housing the piezoelectric vibration piece, and has an end face (34) formed in the circumference of the concave portion, and has an external electrode (31) formed directly on the bottom of the opposite side of the concave portion to be connected electrically with the excitation electrode; a second plate (10) which is made up of a glass or a piezoelectric material and joins the end face (11) to seal and enclosure the piezoelectric vibration piece; and a heat-resistant elastic member (40) which is attached and formed on the bottom of the first plate so that the exterior electrode may become depressed in a region except the external electrode, and has a heat resistance not less than 280°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
