<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor unit and camera module for reducing costs and also contributing to the improvement of quality and the improvement of yield by reducing proportion defective. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor unit 20 has structure where sensor covers 46 are fixed to a wiring substrate 30 with an image sensor 40 mounted thereon. The sensor covers 46 include: a main body part 47 where an opening OP is formed at a position facing a light receiving surface 40a of the image sensor 40; and a translucent member 48 encapsulated by the main body part 47 so as to clog the opening OP. A ventilation part AP for communication between the inner and outer parts of the sensor covers 46 is formed in a part P1 of an encapsulation part between the main body part 47 and the translucent member 48. An inner side gap opening portion V2 of the ventilation part AP is positioned on the outer side of an area facing the light receiving surface 40a of the image sensor 40 on the translucent member 48. A lens unit is mounted on the sensor cover 47 of the image sensor unit 20, thereby to constitute a camera module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
