<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for mass spectrometry useful for SALDI-MS that can achieve an ionization efficiency and soft ionization comparable to MALDI-MS without an addition of organic polycarboxylic acid as an ionization reagent, and a manufacturing method of the substrate for mass spectrometry. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate for mass spectrometry has an arborescent platinum nanostructure formed on a roughened semiconductor substrate, and the arborescent platinum nanostructure is formed through self-growth by the immersion of the roughened semiconductor substrate into a platinum solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
