<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pocket measuring probe allowing a periodontal pocket depth to be measured daily and easily at home. <P>SOLUTION: The pocket measuring probe includes: three main components which are a probe body composed of a holding cylinder and a bundle holding cylinder; a sleeve projected from the front end, and slidable in a longitudinal direction and rotatable around the longitudinal direction as an axis; and a probe penetrating the inside of the sleeve and bundle holding cylinder and stuck to the holding cylinder. A tip of the probe is provided with a probe tip part for specifying an initial space L<SB POS="POST">0</SB>between the sleeve tip of the sleeve and the probe tip of the probe and preventing the sleeve from falling from the probe. A tip of the bundle holding cylinder is provided with a valve protrusion, and bundle holding mechanisms for allowing the valve protrusion to hold a bundle are provided at predetermined spaces at the rear part of the sleeve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
