<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member further favorably suppressing discoloring and provided with a desired anti-glare performance. <P>SOLUTION: This optical member is placed for use on the viewed side of a display device, with the surface of the viewed side of the optical member being anti-glare treated to form recessed/projecting shapes including a region formed at an angle of inclination of greater than 30 degrees on the surface of the viewed side. Assuming the surface of the viewed side of the optical member to be a plane, the area of a projected plan that is obtained by projecting the region formed at an angle of inclination of greater than 30 degrees onto the plane is preferably 60% or greater than the total area of the plane. Furthermore, the ratio of the area obtained by projecting a region formed at an angle of inclination of greater than 45 degrees onto the plane is more preferably 50% or greater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
