摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass dosimeter reading device which can read dose of radiation irradiated to a fluorescence glass element with high accuracy over a wide area, and can be downsized and price reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A glass dosimeter reading device is a device for reading radiation dose irradiated to a fluorescence glass element 10, and includes an irradiation part 20, a photo multiplier 40, a photon counting part 60, an exposure dose control part 70 and a dose calculation part 80. The irradiation part 20 has a light source 22 emitting ultraviolet rays and an exposure dose changing part 30 changing the amount of ultraviolet rays that the light source 22 has emitted, and irradiates the glass element 10 with ultraviolet rays. The photon counting part 60 counts the number of output pulses which was provided by A/D conversion of an output signal of the photo multiplier 40. The exposure dose control part 70 controls an ultraviolet rays exposure dose to the glass element 10 based on the number of output pulses. The dose calculation part 80 calculates a radiation dose irradiated to the glass element 10 based on the number of output pulses and the ultraviolet rays exposure dose irradiated to the glass element 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
