<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can prevent intensively a pseudo contour of a region in which an image having a great motion vector is displayed such as a telop region. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device detects a telop region R1 in which a motion vector is greater than a predetermined motion vector (an example of an element image region), and with reference to the detected telop region R1, and controls intermittent lighting timing of an LED light source group L30 so that writing timing of video signals in liquid crystal elements of the telop region R1 and the intermittent lighting timing of the LED light source group L30 have a predetermined relation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
