<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a devolatilization extruder capable of suppressing a unreacted monomer and its polymer from being deposited on a portion near a sealing bearing part in operation. <P>SOLUTION: The devolatilization extruder includes a cylinder 10 having a polymer composition feeding port 12, a gas discharge port 14, a polymer exit 16 and a through hole 18, a screw 20 penetrated through the through hole 18 and inserted into the cylinder 10, and a sealing bearing part 30 for supporting a shaft part 20a extended to the outside of the cylinder 10 of the screw 20. The sealing bearing part 30 includes a shaft seal part 32, a gap part 34 formed between the shaft seal part 32 and the cylinder 10, and a liquid introduction port 36 for introducing a liquid containing a polymerization inhibitor into the gap part 34. A clearance becoming a flow passage FP in which the liquid introduced from the liquid introduction port 36 into the gap part 34 is discharged into the cylinder 10 is provided between the inner wall surface of the through hole 18 and the surface of the shaft part 20a of the screw 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
