The application of a series of marks or points of known intervals to tape material(s) to indicate distance or length of those tape material(s); for the purpose of allowing the consumer to estimate, cut, measure and possibly use the tape material(s) itself as a measurement reference. The application of scale to tape material(s) will allow the user to cut pre-determined lengths of tape material(s) directly from the supply of tape material(s) (rolls, packages) without the use of additional measurement or estimation tools or aids. The invention comprises of markings, stamps, physical alterations or the indication of scale directly onto or within tape material(s) for the consumer. The marking of scale directly onto or within tape material(s) allows the user to remove as much tape material(s) as needed. The tape material(s) can also be used for further measurement reference of materials once it is fixed in place. Such tape material(s) can be intentionally fixed in locations for repeated measurement reference of additional tape material(s) or other materials without the need for further manipulation or obstruction by or to the user.
