PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact electric apparatus capable of being used without giving an unpleasant feeling to a user by eliminating a beat sound when starting a motor.

SOLUTION: When starting a DC motor 11, the compact electric apparatus performs a switching control of a switching element 13 with the same switching pulse width as that when the DC motor is in a stable operation in which the rotational frequency of the DC motor 11 is stable, and starts the DC motor 11 by supplying it with the same driving voltage as that when the DC motor 11 stably operates.
