<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card transfer control system that transfers a card to a desired transfer destination position only by utilizing one sensor for detecting cards. <P>SOLUTION: The leading end of a card inserted into a card transfer mechanism is detected on a transfer track and control information is specified which controls transfer of the card from a body detection position of an ultrasonic sensor to a transfer destination position of the card.
