<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a vertical gravity center of a load carried by a forklift. <P>SOLUTION: Load cells 14<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-14<SB POS="POST">4</SB>are arranged on a pair of fork prongs 11<SB POS="POST">R</SB>, 11<SB POS="POST">L</SB>at intervals in the front-back direction, and an inclination sensor 15 is arranged on one fork prong 11<SB POS="POST">R</SB>of the pair to detect the angle of inclination so that the vertical gravity center of a container 13 as the load placed on the fork prongs 11<SB POS="POST">R</SB>, 11<SB POS="POST">L</SB>may be computed based on detected outputs of the load cells 14<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-14<SB POS="POST">4</SB>and the detected outputs of the inclination sensor 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
